You can lie to everyone around you if you want to...but don't EVER lie to yourself...you'll get tripped up in it EVERY time.What advice would you give based on life experience?
coast through life as long as you can. If trouble waters arrive just try to keep you head above water until they go away.

Be true to your self. That would be your core values, ethics and principals. If you don't know what your core values, ethics and principals are then you do not know your self at all and will be lead by others-and often regret where you have gone. So get to know your self first and foremost.
trust no-one, never fully open up to someone, it's a kill or be killed world out there,





never place anybody in a position where they could seriously hurt you, emotionally, mentally or physically.





always prepare for the day when you have to fight, whether physically or verbally.
