Advice on how to be able to keep miniature horse in city?

Do you know how it would be possible to keep a miniature horse in the city? And the city doesn't want ';farm animals'; in the city. How can I convince them?Advice on how to be able to keep miniature horse in city?
You could definitely check with the city about getting a permit, but many cities, and even rural areas require that you own at least 5 acres of land to keep one horse and and acre per horse after that. (they don't make exceptions for mini's) You could also try going to the city with a petition signed by every single one of your nearby neighbors stating that they would be okay with you having a mini.Something else to consider is that your home owner's insurance could go up because it would probably be considered an attractive nuisance like a swimming pool. You would be liable if it got out and caused any damage or if some neighborhood kids climbed in your yard and were injured... doesn't matter if they had permission. Also, who's gonna horse sit if you go out of town?

You and your mini would be happier and healthier finding a nice stable to board at. Good Luck!!Advice on how to be able to keep miniature horse in city?
I dont think youll be able to convince them otherwise...

Its not a good idea anyway. Its not a city animal and it needs tons of outdoor space...
