Can anybody advice how to sell my unused airline tickets in Europe?

Well you don't say with which airlines and on which fares. On IATA airlines (ie most non ';low cost'; ones), tickets are not transferable to another person unless it's a full economy class fare (which is very unlikely). Depending on the conditions of the fare you purchased, you can sometimes get a partial or full refund but if it was a cheap fare, chances are it is not refundable at all. Taxes are always refundable so if the airline says the contrary, insist as this contravenes IATA rules.

If you purchased your ticket with a low cost airline, again these are non transferrable to another person and most of them are non refundable at all (including taxes). However some airlines will allow you to cancel and you can keep the fare in credit towards future travel (minus a cancellation fee). so basically, anyway you look at it, unless you purchased a full economy, business or first class fare, you cannot transfer it to another person and therefore cannot ';sell'; your ticket
