Any advice how to store my bicycle during the winter while not riding them for a few months?

For example, should I deflate the tires? I live in a condominium and they are a kept in a special bicycle room. THANKS.Any advice how to store my bicycle during the winter while not riding them for a few months?
Store it on a trainer in a room were you can ride it frequently.Any advice how to store my bicycle during the winter while not riding them for a few months?
you don't need to like winterize your bike, but keep the front in the small chainrings, and depending on you rear derailure you should keep that in the highest gear, or (smallest one). this will take away some cable stretch, meaning everything will stay perfectly tuned. otherwise hook it and keep it handy.
Never store your bicycle. Ride it all year.

If you keep it locked in a room in the dark, it will either commit tubicide, or pick up STD's (Shimano transmitted diseases) from the other bikes.
go to ';http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/14464-鈥?and buy a couple( if the link is no good try this' Sette Lift-it Bike Storage System')of these they are great and cheap, i use them every year for 5 bikes! hint go to the hardware store and buy better screws, dont use the ones that come with the rack!!!
Read Mr G's answer and do as told! If you can get a trainer that is great, but you asked about storage.
listen to them wise men/women...... never store your bike too far away... keep it handy.. there is always a sunny morning in winter and/or a nice auntie who gives you a woolen cap to wear under your helmet..... know someone who kept bike in bedroom, to dream about spring rides...... Definitely, don't store your bike, ride it!!! it gives me the shivers to think of all those poor bikes kept in a dark room throughout winter... C'mon, take it for a ride now and then
Clean it.

Lube it.

Cover exposed metal bits with WD40

Raise the off the ground or turn it upside down (this avoids The tyres being moulded flat)

Cover it.

Job Done.

Hope this advice is more useful than the others ! ! !

Personally, I would have thought that deflating the tyres could only worsen things. Sometimes tyres can perish when stored outdoors with no air in, although it probably wouldn't make much of a difference indoors. If you are storing it indoors I can't think of anything that you would need to do.

But why put it away for the winter? It's nice to cycle all year round - not just depending on the season.
I keep mine in my living room! Bicycles have feelings too ! Keep her tires pumped and her body oiled !
PUT IT IN THAT SPECIAL BICYCLE ROOM.

OR IF YOU HAVE A BALCONY GET HOOKS AND HANG IT BY THE TIRES FROM THE CEILING
